Lenovo today announced its latest flagship smartphone, the K900 which
comes with a slim 6.9mm profile. The K900 sports a 5.5-inch IPS screen
and Intel's latest 32nm dual-core Z2580 processor announced at CES 2013, the first processor of the upcoming Clover Trail+ family.
According to Lenovo, the K900 is one of the first smartphones in the
world to combine a 5.5-inch IPS display with 1080p full high-definition
resolution performance at 400+ pixels-per-inch, all under the
touch-capacitive Gorilla Glass 2.
The K900's camera takes 13-megapixel pictures using the Sony Exmor BSI
sensor and Lenovo has also equipped the K900 with an F1.8 lens. If image
quality holds up, this could make the K900 a legitimate stand-in for a
digital camera in a smartphone. The 2-megapixel front camera features a 88 degrees wide viewing angle, good for capturing everyone with the front.
